Elysia has its origins in ancient Greek mythology and evokes the idea of a celestial paradise. But what if paradise is not so distant or imagined? What if it already exists, here and now?
Elysia is our ode to Mother Nature and celebrates the natural wonders of our planet. When we pause in stillness and truly look, the miracle of nature is revealed. In that moment of awe, the world around us becomes heaven on earth.
Elysia is that moment.
Born in Venezuela and raised in Trinidad, Alejandro Gomez is the creative force behind Elysia. Known for bold silhouettes, rich colour and unmistakable road presence, his work can be seen across the Caribbean carnival landscape and beyond.
At Notting Hill Carnival 2026, Elysia was brought to life on the road through the energy, movement and vibes of our masqueraders.
